I'm interested in buying myself a headphone amp. Yes you heard me, Headphone Amp. I know it may sound stupid that headphones even need amplication at all but yes some headphones do need it.
Generally amps make things go louder everybody knows that, but its stupid if thats all I'm paying for(see the price tag below). The amp can significantly improve the sound quality provided you have a pair of quality headphones(not trashy white Ipod Earbuds). I'm not complaining about my current headphones which cost more than a month's allowance, but it could sound so much better. And not forgetting I'll sure get higher end headphones(>RM500) in the near future. So by then, it will be impossible to not have an amp to drive them.
Now the amp I'm aiming for is Ibasso D2 Boa. The downside is it costs RM500+ or so.. Damn it. Oh btw, it doubles as a USB sound card too. Just plug it in, and say bye bye to the built in crap of your PC! Rm500...... argh! got to worrkkk........
