I haven't really listen to all of them yet, but so far everything's not bad, except for Silversun Pickups. Its not up to par compared to their last album. Cut Copy is insanely great, given it is more towards the 80's synthesizers retro electronica genre. Totally comparable to MGMT, if not better! Camera Obscura is not bad either, it's folk though. Nevertheless its pretty good.

Tomorrow is the anual Youth Wave Challenge! Having high hopes of winning, well probably because we won last year! Hahaha.. Defending Champions. I'm playing Captain Ball now, no more frisbee though I miss it a lot!

Currently and still addicted to Xbox Live. Am seriously considering paying for the 3 months thing. Oh by the way, Grand Theft Auto just got fun again! Imaging THIS with friends.... :D :D :D!!!

Holidays are ON. What am I to do??

WHERE'S MY MONEY?

3 days of hard labor finally pays off!! If you didn't know, I worked for this company, lets call it Company F, for the PC Fair 2009 in Penang. The brand I was selling was, unfortunately the infamous Acer......

After 3 days of hard selling, repeating the same phrases, answering countless questions, persuading and convincing people, I sold 21 laptops total! Not to mention I was the top seller of my brand in my booth! Not bad eh?! Out of the whole team of 15 I was the second highest though..

The whole selling part is pretty awesome. I got to meet all sorts of people, talk to them not just about the laptops, give them advices about other products & etc. Basically earning their favor enough to sell! Company F's promotions are frankly not good or worth it at all. Other shops sold the exact same laptops for cheaper price and more free gifts! Yet I would say about 40% of my customers came back to me based on preferability!! How cool is that?? I wouldn't blame the other 60% cause Company F's packages simply sucked.

I even had some customers that came back reporting to me what the other shop offers but yet they wanted someone they could trust, yes its very shocking. My total commission is approximately RM206.50.. Why 6.50? Its because Company F is so freaking Kiam Siap(stingy)!!! I had this customer who wouldn't buy a RM2300 laptop unless I throw in a laptop lock with it. So figuring that the lock is worth giving, and since the free gifts are so freaking cheap and limitless, I gave. The freaking lady boss caught me and freaking scolded me in front of the customer. I went fine, minus out my pay for that freaking RM3.50 lock. Anyway I've earned myself some valuable customers, and its still freaking RM10 off your head! *said my mind*

You know how freaking stupid and stupid Company F is? It was the last night of the fair, and our competitors reduced the price of their products therefore making a much better deal. My company was practically doomed and was stagnant in sells for more than 3 hours. Then this super loyal customer of mine came to me and said he'll buy from me though it wasn't a good deal. He said he had given first priority when he met me. Damn, He is so sweet and considerate!

Anyway the initial package I gave him came with a backpack. On the last day we didn't have that offer for Acer. So I asked the boss to give the backpack anyway in turn gain a customer. She freaking said if you want to give, then its out of your paycheck. WHAT THE FREAK?(quotation :p)

I answered so you rather want to save on your free gifts than earn a profit from a RM2k+ laptop? She said, go ahead la its your pay you're giving. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! After that I told the customer he's better off buying from our competitors. He was like what!? and so I explained. He's pretty awesome, complimenting on my selling skills and character.. Hahaha seriously! Anyway it was really nice to meet Mr.Tham!!

So all in all, I would say I've earned approximately RM446.50 from that 3 days. Judging that Company F doesn't screw up my commissions or deduct any stupid hidden costs. And this is if they stick to what they've promised. I have both double commission and extra RM20 per day as stated. So, PAY UP.

I think I'm gonna end here, there's plenty more to say about my PC Fair experience.. It was awesomeee and worth going through to sum it all up. Now I just have to get paid.

Corn Dogs.

I just wanna say, aaahhhhhh.... Finally I'm done with my website assignment!! I have to say its pretty nice given we finished the whole 30 page website in under 2 days.

The due date was today, we only got started on Monday with nothing, NOTHING. I'm still amazed on how the 3 of us, You Wei, Amoz, and me managed to finish it in time. 30 pages with more than 35 pages to code, the CSS page alone is more than 251 lines of coding! Well, its mainly due to the CSS, that the rest was pretty simple.. I now see the power of CSS!

Again, I'm assigned to design everything graphical. From the logo, backgrounds, headers, footers, fonts, buttons, frames, and so many others. I'm not complaining or anything but I feel, satisfied. Haha! Speaking of which, I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF MY LAPTOP!

At any one time I can be running 10 active windows on my screen! Yeah you might say you can do the same but DO YOU? How would you navigate around? Alt-Tab through the windows? By all means, go ahead! This is HOW I do it. Significantly improved my productivity for real! Oh by the way the programs are all FAT HEAVY programs running on my 8 year old laptop! I don't even have 1GB of ram!!

I'm currently addicted to Xbox Live now... I'm having my 1 month free trial to play online with people and it completely swallow me whole. The connection is fast even though streamyx isn't I don't know why. The games, well they speak for themselves. Currently addicted to Call of Duty 4. Old game, but mega fun online nevertheless!

Well now comes the question, should I pay for the 1 year subscription fee which is Rm200? Well, if its really that fun then why not? There is almost always a catch to all good things, for this its that there's a risk I'll get banned. I'm playing off not-so-ori DVDs so M$(Microsoft for you non-geeks) is entitled to ban me from playing anytime. Thats if they happen to catch me.. It could happen 2 hours later, next year, or never; Luck. So I don't know whether I should risk paying RM200 and end up playing for just one hour OR die happily from photographic seizures.. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Last night was Wendy's farewell party. We all had a blast with that awesome smelling girl! Hahaha!! Gosh we're gonna miss her so much. I'm gonna miss her! Anyways, I got a bit drunk but none the less was sane enough to finish my codings till 4am. :)

You owe me a 10 hour car.

So I went to watch Fast And Furious 4 that day, and it was quite okay. I would say a solid 7/10 score. It is actually a pretty decent movie, there were lots of action, good but not perfect story line, and there were cars. Well in my opinion, the cars are what made the movie suck.

The cars, were crap. I could count almost all the cars used in the movie with both my hands, not including those that didn't even have 5 min of movie time that is. Those which had plenty of screen exposure were a bit 'dull'. It's like they came straight off the factory line. Maybe once in a while they'll slap on some rims and a paint job. Other than that, they look like a common man's commuter. Saddening.

I think its on purpose that the cars suck. The direction of the movie is more toward the story and characters rather than the cars, which is good but it kinda sucks the whole purpose out of the movie. Think Fast and Furious and trishaws and tricycles... If you want to see cars go watch Redline. Great cars, not so great movie.

One thing that pissed me off was what O'Connor was crusin' in, a NISSAN SKYLINE R34. Of all cars a stock Skyline?(it even has its original paint scheme) COME ON! The Subaru he used later on was okay, but it didn't had much screen time and was ssslllloooowwwww...

Vin Diesel's cars on the other hand weren't that bad actually. I sort of knew he was gonna drive the Chevelle SS from the begining, but didn't expect it to be dead stock. Come on, matte grey? he must had spray painted it.

Ahh the Buick Grand National.The car that make Vin Diesel a bad ass of bad asses. It kinda got me excited as it was the first car to appear on screen with its definite roar. Oh come on just look at it, totally totally a bad ass car! I used to use this car to bully drivers of Midnight Club: L.A. Oh man I miss that game. Road Rage!

Remember the above car from the first Fast and Furious? It didn't make the cut! The first Fast And Furious "exposed engine muscle car that can do wheelies" car is actually a Dodge Charger. The one used in the new movie is actually the baby brother, a Dodge Challenger. Though it had an exposed engine and can still do wheelies, there's a big difference...

The movie really could have been better if they had better cars, newer cars. Sigh, I wonder if electric cars will ever be on screen?
